On November 9, Rector Dr. Daniel Hern?ndez Ruip?rez and Vice Rector Dr. Mar?a ?ngeles Serrano of University of Salamanca (USAL) visited OIT. They reunited with OIT Ex-President Dr. Masataka Inoue after five months since he had visited USAL last June.
After having a meeting with OIT President Dr. Yasushi Nishimura and Dr. Inoue, they took a tour of several facilities such as the observation deck “Yodo Vista” with an excellent view of Osaka City. Then, they visited the construction site of OIT Umeda Campus which will be home to a new faculty of OIT.
Since OIT made a partnership agreement with USAL in May 2013, collaboration between two universities have been boosted. In 2015, OIT invited USAL professors to an international workshop and held a special lecture to OIT graduate students. Moreover, OIT sent to USAL a faculty member for research exchange and five students under the overseas research experience program.
OIT and USAL will also work together on realization of research and education on a global scale in OIT Umeda Campus.
