The purpose of their visitation was to attend the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Kookmin University and OIT.

First, the guests paid a courtesy call on Dr. Yasushi Nishimura, President of OIT, and had a meeting with him and other OIT faculty staff. In the meeting, overviews of both universities were introduced, and ideas for academic cooperation were frankly exchanged.
After the meeting, the ceremony was held and both presidents signed the MOU to develop the cooperative relationship in education and research.
