11月27日広島工業大学で開催された第4回工大サミットのSociety 5.0 for SDGs学生プレゼンテーションにおいて、本学科4年生の宮田君が外部資金で実施した研究である「土壌水分モニタリング」に特化したIoTデバイスについてプレゼンを行いました。彼は現在、通信システム研究室において、マンホールの水位を計測し氾濫を検知するスマート防災に関する卒業研究を行っており、その成果も期待されています。
