OIT and OCAD University in Toronto, Canada signed a Memorandum of Understanding for academic exchange on May 20, 2022.
OCAD, founded in 1876, is a largest and oldest provincial art and design university in Canada. Its main campus is located near the Art Gallery of Ontario and has approximately 4,700 students.
It offers a total of 21 courses in 3 faculties and 7 courses in the Master's program, including Environmental Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Digital Painting and Animation, and Integrated Media.
In May 2021, OCAD hosted a COIL (Collaborative Online Learning) workshop, which was attended by students and faculty from OIT's Department of Design and Architecture.
It is expected that this will lead to a wide range of future exchanges, including exchange programs, centered on this department.
