On Saturday, October 22, OIT Candle Night was held at the Omiya and Umeda campuses, attracting approximately 1,500 visitors.
At Omiya Campus, a Candle Night Executive Committee led by the Head Office of Cultural Clubs was formed to plan, manage, and produce exhibits for the event.
The committee members connected over 3,000 paper airplanes created by all members of each club and student projects, and eventually were able to display a large monument of candles over 5 meters in length.
In Umeda Campus, the Design and Architecture Research Club, the OIT Umeda Volunteer Club, the Event Creator Club, and volunteer students transcended the boundaries to create the main candle with a 100th anniversary motif.
